Frequently Asked Questions
We are always happy to answer any of your questions either on the phone or in person. However, here are a few of the more frequently asked questions with answers.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Yes, we encourage residents to bring their
own furniture and items and to decorate their living space to suit their
individual style. We also allow residents to have small refrigerators
in their rooms. Hilltop House can, however, provide furniture such as
beds, dressers, night stands, chairs and lamps.
Is it hard for most people to give up their homes and move into a home
such as Hilltop House?
Moving to a new home is always challenging and
stressful, at any age, and there are always positives and negatives to
any change. At Hilltop House each resident has their own living space
which offers solitude and privacy yet at the same time there is support
and social interaction available. Our motto is "Living on your own,
together."
Can I relocate to Hilltop House from out-of-state?
Yes but you must be under the care of a local physician.
